  Ms. Weaver, how are you, hope all is well.  Have you ever owned or had a partnership in a hotel and or multi-unit apartment building presently or in the past.  Do you understand the machanics or accounting involved prior to making a serious offer for such an endeavor.  Is your financing in place, do you have at least 30% to put down of your own funds.  There are many bankrupt hotels for sale today all over the country.  Find an attorney that specializes in these types of tranactions, "do not rely on the word or most of the information supplied to you by the selling agents.  There will be many discrepancies, even some out right lies.  Even if you are acting in the role of a middle person, have your professional people in place.  If you still care to move forward, let me know what areas on the east coast you are considering purchasing, along with some proof that you or your clients are financially willing and able to move forward.
