The meeting at the Renaissance Hotel in Rutherford NJ,  Hosted by Nick and crew,  turned out to be very informative.  The subject matter was about rehabbing.  What do you guys think?

Lol, I tried...but I think bob practices that a lot cuz his was really good. Mine just made me laugh cuz it was fun to be silly. We'll see what next event brings, but sooner or later your going to do something silly too so get ready for it. It actually put me in a good energetic mood, so don't be shy next time.

Thanks for the kind remarks and since I was presenting, I think it was great too...lol. There's only so much I can give in time alotted, so I wish I could give you more, but that's what the weekend event is for.
Remember, one of my favorite questions you can ask to test a contractor to see how he handles himself and his crew is something like this...look, I know not all jobs go according to plan and things happen that you couldn't avoid or forsee, we all don't have crystal balls, but I am curious, tell me about a job you worked on where something didn't go as planned and you had to let the owner know?
This will throw them off balance, but we are not playing games and hoping that with this contractor everything will go smoothly. This is business and part of your due diligence. Just make sure you say it in a playful way where you make him/her feel uncomfortable.
Once you get the answer, then ask for that persons info so you can call them as one of his referrals. If he doesn't want to give it up, most likely he didn't handle it right and they know the owner will not give a positive response to you.
