Conneticut - short sale w/owner residing

Have a short sale in CT where an attny wants to structure where the landowner can stay there while leasing what they owned from the short sale specialist, and then buy it back later. How is this possible? Thanks. Russell- need to get back to the attorney on this soon

Thanks- I also understand in CT from another attorney I need a realtor's license AND be registered with Department of Banking there to conduct a short sale for a borrower. True unless I work with a realtor that has above? If this does not work, everyone needs to know to verify with their respective states' laws before proceeding!! How is it possible for us to just go do this without this ?!?!While I do not look to "overthink things" I am not looking to become a defendant in a legal case. Just one another one as plaintiff.

Its apparent this Attorney does not know the rules to short sales when dealing with the lender. This sounds like a case where the landowner wants to get out of paying their current monthly installment, then short sale property to buy it back later at a cheaper price.

The only thing I can say is LAWSUIT, LAWSUIT, LAWSUIT. Walk away now, no more conversation is needed.

Simple run away from this deal and attorney or you are in for Trouble particularly in CT.
