Hello,
I purchased my first investment in Atlanta, about 4 months ago . I paid, $21k for it, is a single family house and I got it from an auction, It had just happend that I was there , drove by it , neighborhood seem good and so was the hight bidder. The address is 2375 Wallace Rd. SW Atlanta, GA 30331 Atlanta, GA 30331, its a single family house, it surprisingly has a pool that I just discovered, I was offer $30k a week after from a local guy. Not sure if I should sale, thinking about rehabbing it, and maybe renting it out for a few years. Taxes are only $300 a year. Im currently buying another one in Snellville, again Im not from GA , Im a jersey boy, but I got them at great prices. With the experience Im going through with this first buy I think I will keep GA on my mind. :)
Georgia REIA is a great place to start.
Atlanta and the surrounding area.
Where in Georgia are you? I used to be an Agent in Atlanta.
Try http://www.reiclub.com/real-estate-clubs.php (to find your local real estate clubs throughout the USA). No TriState Mixer over there yet however, there should be some decent clubs in the area! :-D
Best bet is to seek out your local REIA and other clubs including possibly free ones on Facebook. Network. Get to talking to actual property buyers to see what they're looking for. Invite a Realtor or two for coffee and check the pulse of the local RE market.
Personally, if I was just starting out I would probably look to become a licensed agent in GA just to get a good understanding of the basics and access to the MLS so I can see what's selling and what isn't. Good luck.
Yes. I am asking if anyone knows of anything down here? I am starting from scratch and thought maybe someone in NJ would know something or someone. Let me know
Are you asking if anyone in Tri-state is investing in GA??
