What's up TRISTATE, I wanted to share my thoughts on my new favorite Hollywood train wreck. I just caught his interview on date line the other night and it’s funny to see how he relates our business. Everyday the economy is getting a little crazier but as I continue to look at housing values drop, I can feel my fingers getting tingly again as I hunt for the next deal. Its Christmas now for buyers... well, it’s not really December yet but the money you can make on a property right now can buy you some pretty nice gifts. Regardless if you paid a little too much on your home in the boom or just don't have the funds to get in on the game right now; stop trying to figure out why you can't do it and look for ways to find out how you can.
Maybe not the best example but I just saw Charlie Sheen going on a tirade. He’s letting the world know about his real life, how weak producers pulled the plug on his show and how they took food off his plate. Yeah, the dude who made 2 million an episode is still focused (at the moment) and hungry for more. Now there are a hundred reasons why this can end bad, very bad… but I'm eager to see the outcome. On a positive note, he is turning that loss (our economy) into new ideas, businesses and opportunities. If he actually pulls it off, ( sober without the snow ball buffet) the winning tiger blood transformation of a "bad hand" can be his biggest success yet. If you check his 2.8 million + followers on his recently opened record breaking twitter account or the two 18 minute sold out upcoming tour dates… he just created his own list of fans that can make him a little extra change. I hate hearing him say it but that truly is WINNING!!! Why am I sharing life lessons from a junky? Because if he can stay clean (which is his biggest challenge), strategize with a think tank at a dining room table and create new streams of revenue when his prize possession was stripped away why can't you?
It is a pleasure to see everyone in this mixer working together in a very well informed REIA. I look forward to meeting / working with you all soon. For those of you that are still holding out, get in on real estate and buy a distressed property now forcing appreciation through rehabilitation or my specialty NEW CONSTRUCTION. Regardless if you are a wholesaler, private investor or flipper; our focus is on distressed properties that are tear downs, vacant land and ugly REO’s that can be bought for 10-30% of the current market value. Why you ask? The land underneath the home is worth its weight in gold. Want to learn more from the builder? Check out our website through our homepage, speak with you soon. Cornelius Crawford
