I am looking to make an offer on a 3 family multifamily home in NJ
The green card expires in Nov 2013. I like the property but am afraid that the new inspection might throw up something that I will be held accountable for to change . For eg 30k to add new fire lights in the exits.
1. How do I protect myself against this ? Can I go ahead and buy the property and take a chance as it already has a green card or wait ( it will take 4 months to get the new green card - from the faq's)
2. Are there private inspector who would inspect the property to list the things that the NJ state inspector would look for and advise us. ( Not just a home inspection but similar to
