Hello All,
My wife and I are just getting our RE business back in swing this year and looking to make it a full time business. We of course are looking to build a great team, and the lawyer is a key part of the mix.
I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations on a great RE lawyer in the NY city, North Jersey or SE CT region that we might get in contact with?
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Mike,
Were you able to work with the attorney and got the arrangements that you wanted? I went to a RE training and received similar instructions as well to protect your RE investments. But I don't know if that's the case in NJ.
Would appreciate if you could share your insights...
thanks,
Y.
Hello All,
Thanks thus far for the reply. We are thinking we are essentially looking for a RE lawyer specializing in Land Trusts.
We have a few investment properties, one in Manhattan and one in CT. We would like to go about setting them up in Land Trusts, then moving those trust into LLCs and then attaching those LLCs to an operating S-Corp. That at least has been the training we have gotten before. We have had a tough time finding any lawyer that was responding to wanting to do the Land trust as they saw it as overkill and not making sense from a tax perspective either. Again we are looking for these lawyers to be licensed in CT, NY, and we are interested in NJ now, so would need a lawyer for that area as well. Please let us know if you have anyone in mind.
Thanks
Hi, Nick,
I need a lawyer who handles property tax reductions on a contingency fee basis -- do you know anyone who does that?
Thanks,
Amy Bly
