I am currently working on a short sale. The BPO from the broker the investment group sent out was extremely high. I am looking to get someone in to do my own BPO and also a contractor to give me estimates for the damage done to the property. The investment group is only estimating $15,000 in repairs, I do NOT agree but need proof. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. The house is in Navesink, NJ.

Thanks Eric but I am still in negotiations with the lien holder. The reason I was a contractor to come in so I can get estimates for the repairs. He is estimating only 15,000. I know it is a lot more. The house needs new HVAC system including duct work, water heater leaks, mold in the walls, new cabinets, new bathroom... the list goes on. The banks offer was ridiculous, trying to get my facts together to send him another offer. If you are interested you can meet me to see the house then we will have to discuss a price after I deal with the lender.
Why did you even submit the contractor estimates if you knew they were so low?
I did not submit any estimates yet, that is what I am compiling now.
Hmm..... I may be able to help if I can buy the house?
