how to find a good tax attorney or CPA to help filing personal and business taxes

I know there are ways to save thousands of $s if you have the right team working for you and I'm searching for someone in the NYC area that can assist me with this so that I don't overpay. If anyone has some suggestions based on personal experience I would appreciate it. I can give my phone number if necessary. This seems to be a viable network of professionals, so I'm hopeful that I'll get some referals
