I hope all are ok after Sandy. There is a lot of help needed out there, volunteering, money, supplies (it's not the just Red Cross that's helping, I have been volunteering with the Rotary Club).
But they also are looking for skilled workers, so all you rehabbers out there who may be able to help or at least send those who can would be appreciated. (see info below). If you are turned away due to large volume of workers already signed up, let me know as there will be many more opportunities from different people/organizations that will be putting help together workers as the needs arise.
Thanks.
All the best.

I received an email this morning through a networking connection and thought I'd pass it along. They are looking for a lot of people, yes skilled trades people are in high demand, but they need a lot of people to help out. Skilled workers needed in Belmar and surrounding communities.
Carpenters, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbers, etc., for Commercial restoration are needed.
Unions are being contacted and many skilled workers are being hired. Residential work also needed for smaller systems, i.e., boilers, h/w heaters, w/d and related appliances damaged by Sandy. Basement restoration including sanitizing, resurfacing and finishes.
Several months of work.
