Hi Nicole,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and your insights with me.  I am currently looking to get refund back for what I bought from them. 

I was very disappointed with their business integrity ( the person who called to sell me the package did not disclose all the different package pricing to me, and when I call the 800# on their website, they wouldn't give me a clear answer, and just told it's different,) and later through networking I found out people got the same package as I did paid much less and got a whole lot more! 

I also bought the Advance REI course, the smallest just like you, under their false promises that "there is no risk, you can get a full refund, if you are not satisfied even after attending the 1st day of the class."  

So much for Robert K.'s name, I am very disappointed and disgusted by the way they conduct their business!  If you know of people who had success getting refund from them, please let me know, I would like to learn how they did it.  Right now, I am research online, and found out that they have been sued (class actions in FL, and they loss, and had to pay 1.5M to settle, and had to change their biz name from Whitney Russ to Tigrent, and move to UT!)  It's a great lesson for me - to always do my due diligence regardless whose name is back the product/service!  

So far I found a great website - http://www.consumer-action.org/helpdesk/ to get info on how to proceed legally, and there is also NYC Financial Justice Hotline [phone]) to help.  I am very confident that I will get my full refund back!  If anyone else out there is going through the same thing with Tigrent, please feel free to contact me.

Cons - WAAAY too expensive for what you get.  There are so many just as thorough, less expensive programs out there (there's also a lot of crap out there too... you kinda take your chances!).  And since their program caters to people nationwide, the information is very general - even my coach was from the midwest so I didnt get info specific to my market from him either. 

Advice: Find a small time local investor/group to join up with so you can have access to people experienced in the real estate procedures/laws in your area :-)
